Ithaca Event Spaces was created to make one of the biggest birthday-party decisions a little easier: finding a place where people can gather comfortably. We are a local business focused on birthday party event spaces and special occasion spaces across Central & Upstate New York.
Our founder, Daniel Mercer, grew up in the Ithaca area and spent his early working years helping with community gatherings, family celebrations, and small local events. After seeing friends and families struggle to find spaces that matched their guest lists and plans, Daniel began thinking about how the venue-search process could be more personal and straightforward. Ithaca Event Spaces grew from that idea, with birthday celebrations as the company's primary focus.
Daniel's connection to the region remains central to the business. He knows that a birthday gathering in Ithaca can look very different from one in Cortland, Dryden, Elmira, Lansing, Cayuga Heights, or Corning, even when the basic planning questions are similar. Our goal is to bring a friendly local perspective to those decisions and help customers across Central & Upstate New York find a space that works for the celebration they actually want to have.
